We don’t look back and reminisce on days, months, or even years, but moments. Here is a reverse chronological (December at the top) timeline capturing those moments in my life; the ones surrounded by the people who have made the greatest impact on me, the ones that God has clearly shown his sovereign hand in, and the ones that I didn’t know how good they were until they were gone.

Honeymoon, first year of marriage, first year home-owners, first full-time job, Emilie college graduation, fell in love with the prayer room, trip back to Nepal together, Emilie in Kindergarten, trip to Europe

Moved into my van, began spiritual transformation, formed life-long friendships, started leading worship, first date with Emilie, Pine Cove city summer, unforgettable road trips to all 12 UT football games

Lived in Nepal for nine months, took several treks through the Himalayas, introduced to the Holy Spirit, started to read, visited eight countries, proposed to Emilie, closed on a house, got married

Fell in love with nature, introduced to Jesus, renovated a van, jumped out of a plane, accepted Jesus, was baptized, first time leaving the country, began ministry, found deep community

One month in Nepal, lived full-time van life again, senior year of college, drove up the American Northeast coast, final days with Papa, trip to West Africa, bought a diamond ring, college graduation

Childhood in Northern Kentucky, family and friends, sports, picked up a guitar, travel baseball, high school graduation, lover of self and worldliness, moved to Knoxville, started college
