Book Club.
I have a newfound joy in reading that I never knew existed. In fact not only did I not know I could find joy in reading, I had a strong disdain for it. Probably because the only books I’ve ever read were the ones I was forced to by high school english teachers, and even then I just read the cliff notes enough to pass the quizzes.
Now I see books as an extraordinary means of God’s grace. Although nothing compares to the inspired word of God himself in the 66 books of scripture, He can and does use other authors to convict, encourage, and stir up.
I want to keep record of the books I read from here on out, so I will continue coming back to this post and updating. My goal is to read at least one book every month. Thanks for following along, and reach out with any questions or if you’d like to hear my thoughts on any of the books or authors below.
